White Island Lighthouse Restoration

It has been guiding mariners since the early 1800's. It has also been battered, cracked, and the 110 foot walkway has been washed away.

Tonight we set sail for the iconic location and bring you a story of rebuilding. It started with some schoolchildren and their teacher and it has lead to some good old Yankee craftsmanship and ingenuity.

This is the lighthouse restoration that I worked together on with Jeff Thurston. We were on the island for a month building this historic timber frame walk way.
